Days Inn by Wyndham Augusta
10/10 Excellent
"An excellent property, clean and well kept. The night I stayed the Expedia was literally 1/3 of the major chain across the street where I usually stay. There was a little computer glitch which threatened to delay the checkins of myself and another guest. But when the other guest mentioned he needed sleep for an early morning job, the host managed a work around to check us in expeditiously, even though it meant extra work for him to follow up with our paper work. I will definitely choose this property on my next trip!"
Maine Cabin Masters Camp completely redone waiting for a Lake loving family !
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location, fantastic space, every accommodation I could have asked for. Including firewood, grill , and of course the separated bungalow for just the 2 of us. We brought our own chairs and grill not know what we would be finding. Turns out having the flat top came in handy, But completely unnecessary. Even provided 2 backup propane tanks. "
"This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun to do something different. Would highly recommend as long as a few spider webs, an outhouse/composting toilet, and no electricity don't phase you.Again, so refreshing to have a unique experience for a few nights!"
"The Inn was expertly maintained. The innkeepers were knowledgeable, helpful and always available to their guests. We could tell immediately that the they spent quite a bit of time thinking about how to make their guests comfortable and enjoy their time at their property."
