Nice house with a big garden

The house is charming and equipped with everything useful. The garden is big and wonderful for dogs. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. You can reach Calais and Boulogne sur mer in less than half an hour. The owners are friendly and helpful. For us a perfect place to spend some relaxing holidays with the family.

Lovely rural setting, but still very close to Calais

We had a lovely week and were made to feel very welcome by the owner. The house has everything you would expect, as well as a large garden. The area is very scenic and has rolling hills and woodlands with lots of walks. Licques is only a km or so down the road, and has a supermarket and other shops. Calais is only about 20 to 30 minutes away, and Boulogne and St Omer are within easy reach. The house itself is in a small village, and isn't isolated as such, but still very rural and very much feels like you have got away from it all. M, thank you for a really nice week!

Cleanliness a real issue. Poor quality old bed linen, very poor sofa, not at all comfortable. The place needs some tlc and a really good clean, could be really nice if it were better organised and sorted.

Over het algemeen gaat het goed, maar de stoelen en bank zijn niet geschikt voor een week. Ook de bedden zijn erg slecht, doorgezakt en gaven ons pijn! De badkamer is beslist niet geschikt voor 70 plussers. Verder is het een mooi huis met een ruime tuin.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce logement bien situé et bien équipé, il ne manque rien. Le petit plus est le grand jardin clôturé pour laisser gambader le toutou.L'accueil a été sympathique avec une chouette attention.

In diesem Haus und dieser Umgebung kann man wunderbar abschalten und sich wohl fühlen. Das große Grundstück ist ein Paradies für Hunde. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden und haben ein paar tolle Tage verbracht.

Perfekt für Leute mit Hunden

Das Haus hat viel Charme und das Highlight ist der sehr große umzäunte Garten. In ca. 35 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto an mehreren Stränden. Nur wer abends viel ausgehen will, ist hier vielleicht nicht richtig. Für alle anderen ist es toll😊

Sehr ruhig gelegen, super Garten

Positiv: Das Haus ist ausreichend groß und in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man benötig. Der Garten ist super toll, mit Hund erst recht. Man kann in der Gegend auch toll Wandern gehen. Das Meer ist nicht weit weg, aber in den Ferien sehr voll. Marie-Line ist eine nette Gastgeberin, leider haben wir uns nicht persönlich getroffen, aber sie war immer erreichbar. Negativ: Alles ist etwas staubig und die Matratze im Ehebett ist leider sehr durchgelegen und müsste dringend gewechselt werden, man sinkt darin sehr tief ein. Auch ein Duschvorhang oder eine Duschwand wäre schön gewesen, so konnte man sich nur baden oder waschen, da man sonst eine Überschwemmung im Bad gemacht hätte. Vielleicht wäre auch ein Wischmop schön, für Gäste mit Hund sicher eine gute Idee :-) Fazit: Wer mit etwas Staub und einem rustikalen Look leben kann, hat hier einen tollen Urlaub. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und werden auch gerne wieder kommen.

Schön ruhig und ein toller Garten, vorallem wenn man mit Hunden reist

Wir haben eine schöne Woche im Haus verbracht. Unseren 2 Hunden hat der Garten auch sehr gefallen und der ist komplett eingezäunt. Wir wurden herzlich Empfangen und die Besitzerin konnte sich gut mit uns verständigen (auf deutsch).Sie war sehr nett. Sauberkeit könnte besser sein , aber im großen und ganzen hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub.

Ruhig, rustkal und hundefreundlich

Wer den neusten Standard erwartet, wird hier sicherlich enttäuscht. Wer aber die Ruhe schätzt, einen großen Garten mit Tor für seinen Hund möchte und mit dem rustikalen Charme der Einrichtung kein Problem hat, kommt hier ganz aus seine Kosten. Besonders gut hat uns der Kamin gefallen, der an Regentagen Gemütlichkeit ins Haus bringt. Holz ist reichlich vorhanden, wir waren aber froh eine Axt dabeizuhaben, da die Holzscheite recht groß sind. Bettwäsche lässt sich glücklicherweise auch spontan für einen fairen Preis mieten, denn diese hatten wir vergessen. Die Dusche besteht leider aus einer Badewanne ohne Vorhang, was zur Folge hat, dass man sich zum Duschen setzen muss, wenn man das Bad nicht unter Wasser setzen möchte. Im Großen und Ganzen ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Uns persönlich steht zu viel verstaubte Dekoration herum, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Die Vermieterin ist ausgesprochen freundlich und spricht gut Deutsch. Sie hat uns viele wertvolle Tips für den Aufenthalt gegeben. Wir würden auf jedenfall wieder kommen, da uns die Lage, die Ruhe und der Garten überzeugt haben.

Wie bei Oma zu Hause

Man fühlt sich wie bei Oma zu Hause. Alles ist vorhanden, vom Föhn über eine Mikrowelle bis zum wunderbar gemütlichen Kaminofen. Das einzige was fehlte ist ein Duschvorhang, ohne den man tendenziell das Badezimmer unter Wasser setzt. Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen, mit vielen wunderbaren Tipps die wir auch alle wahrgenommen haben. Von hier aus ist die Küste zu allen Seiten hin in 30 bis 40 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Rustige woning in een mooie omgeving

We hebben genoten van een heerlijke week vakantie. Het is heerlijk rustig rondom de woning. In de buurt is genoeg te beleven op het gebied van natuur en cultuur. De woning zelf is gedateerd, maar ons stoorde dat niet. Er is meer dan voldoende servies, glaswerk, kookgerei e.d. aanwezig.

Für Urlaub mit Hunden perfekt

Das besondere Highlight für die Hunde ist der riesengroße, vollständig abgeschlossene Garten (u.a. mit vielen alten Obstbäumen). Irgendwo im Dorf bellt immer ein Hund (und dann auch die eigenen), aber das hat nicht gestört. Das Ferienhaus ist technisch nicht auf dem allerneuesten Stand, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht (incl. SAT-Fernsehen; o.k., WLAN wäre noch das i-Tüpfelchen gewesen). Der Kamin war an zwei Abenden sehr angenehm und funktionierte ebenfalls tadellos. Zu den Stränden braucht man mit dem Auto nur ca. 30-40 Minuten. Zum Wandern (Wanderparkplätze) muss man allerdings auch etwas fahren. Dafür sind Bäcker und Supermarkt gleich im Nachbardorf (5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt). Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hat mich mit einer Flasche selbstgemachten Apfelsaft begrüßt :-).
