Although the house was small, the location was absolutely perfect. The property was modern and had been recently updated, making it very comfortable. The lake itself was stunning, and having kayaks available was a fantastic touch. It’s an ideal vacation home for small families looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. We found this house after quite a lengthy search on both the site I’m not allowed to mention and Vrbo. We’re glad we took our time to decide and choose this house. Alex’s house had everything we needed to make this work/family trip feel like we never left our house. The rooms were big, the house was clean, and the views were fantastic. The weather cleared up enough the last couple days and allowed us to get on the lake with the kayak, which the kids loved. Coming from the LA area, we enjoyed both the rainy weather and getting on the water when the clouds broke. The house was close by shopping, dining, and a short drive to DT Seattle. It was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family and it was nice to be able to cook and wash clothes. It was great to have access to the lake and it was really fun to take the kayak out on the water. The owner was always very quick to respond to questions which was great. The only thing that I would recommend would be blinds to cover the sliding glass doors so you could close those at night. ##### Candace D. The home is extremely clean with amazing amenities like a washer and dryer, dishwasher, outdoor grille, canoe with life vest, electronic fireplace, hangers and gorgeous views of the lake. The only reason for a 4 star rating is because there’s no ice or running drinking water, and honestly the photos should be updated because it looks even better in person.
