Our group of 8 were comfortable and had plenty of room to gather for meals or games. It is convenient to both Auburn and Skaneateles. The house was well appointed and equipped. We had a fantastic vacation in the Finger Lakes, and our stay at Casa Carmela was certainly a highlight. The view is amazing looking out over Owasco Lake and we enjoyed the use of the kayaks and boat. The house is in a great location to access western NY, the other Finger Lakes, and Syracuse. The house is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for seven adults. Beautiful lake views from inside the house and from the decks. House has gorgeous views of the lake and a private beach/dock. If course it rained the majority of our stay, but we were able to entertain ourselves in the quaint town of auburn and watching football/TV shows on the 2 TVs in the living room. The board games were also fun! Was able to accommodate my parents, husband, 2 children under 2 and my dog. Even with a full house, there was plenty of space for us all to relax. I spent a long weekend here with my husband and another couple when in town for a wedding in Auburn. The house was spotless and the views of the lake were amazing. The owner was very responsive and made sure we were happy and didn’t need anything. The house has code access which made everything so easy. No need to pick anything up or drop anything off. The view of the lake is fabulous and the home is well equipped for enjoying the water (kayaks, paddleboard, life vests, etc). The house is spacious and nicely decorated. Rick was very responsive when I had questions and checked in periodically during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. The road to the house is single lane, but traffic goes in both directions, so you have to be sure to go slowly in case anyone else is coming or going.
