"The cottage was lovely but unfortunately, previous guests had smoked inside leaving the place reeking of cigarette smells. Our host was most attentive and moved us to another equally lovely cottage - without the smell of stale cigarette smoke. While lovely, the cottage would benefit from a freshen-up."

"We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom."
