Fabulous stay in a quaint building sympathetically restored. A highly quality guesthouse and host was very welcoming. Made minor alterations to the breakfast which made our stay even better as the children happy with food choices. The host has a fab website with links to shops and restaurants and made our overnight stop incredible.

The friendliest welcome ever! Teddy (the spaniel) and I had an excellent stay in this beautiful house. We were looked after extremely well and look forward to returning.

The hotel is in a quiet location away from the centre of town, which was exactly what we wanted, but town is just a short car ride if you need anything there. It's just a short dive into Saumur and is close to all the Loire valley attractions. We were shown to a good sized room on the ground floor overlooking a large well kept garden with a nice pond. The bedroom furniture was very plain but was completely functional. The bathroom was a good size but oddly had no shower screen or curtain - this...

I can't fault this wonderful manoir - Francois and Dominique were the perfect hosts Beautiful large room with a lovely, comfortable 4 poster bed. Very well appointed and full of beautiful antiques Dinner and breakfast were superb and the attention to detail quite lovely The manor is in a beautiful setting close to the Loire River It was lovely to practice our French with Francois and Dominique - if we are in the area again we will most definitely come back I would highly recommend this manoir

Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. Really enjoyed our stroll throught the vineyards and around the estate with while playing a fun game of quiz. Thoroughly recommend this place, in parcular to couples.

Great hotel in wonderful surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were at a wedding and the reception was there as well so it was perfect for us. For people wanting more facilties or to be near other restaurants it is out of the way so you need a car to get to anywhere.

Tranquil extremely scenic location.

Very friendly owner, beautiful location and grounds, clean and comfortable room in historic building, good breakfast, tea/coffee and bottled water in rooms

Calm, welcoming, beautiful. So much space! Excellent breakfast. Wonderful.

Very relaxing place to be and quality of the lodges were excellent. Very clean and staff were very friendly. Will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

Great location amongst the vineyards, very quiet, short walk into small town. Room lovely and quaint. Nice breakfast and host Elke Very welcoming friendly and knowledgeable about the are

A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Only point of note is if you wish to dine in their partner (next door) restaurant , best to reserve in advance , as it was fully booked (despite being...

Excellent bar/waiting staff in restaurant

Loved every minute of our stay, room was big and bathroom clean, pool was a nice touch with the weather being so warm, staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it was just as amazing as the hotel. Location was closed enough to the centre but not too close.
