There are a variety of shops/restaurants in town within walking distance!The rooms were clean and the layout very pleasing! We had 11 adults and 6 children (3 and under) and were able to sleep comfortably as well find quiet spots if necessary!The host, Wendy, is beyond wonderful! We were already pleased by her pleasant communication during our decision-making process and how she quickly responded to any questions we had, but then on our checkout day, she was especially kind and understanding when one of the cars in our group was stuck in her driveway for hours until it could be towed. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house had everything we could possibly need to make our beach trip run smoothly. With just a short walk to the boardwalk, we were able to visit multiple times a day without any issue. This lower unit was bigger than most in Ocean City, perfect for our large family and our friends. The location was close to the beach and boards, but also close to downtown and the shops. It truly had all the beach gear we needed so we really just brought clothes and food. Bedrooms were comfortable and overall layout was great. Large great room, also large enough to accomodate our family staying at a 2nd family owed house nearby so we ate together. Generous kitchen with everything we needed. Alsocomfortable front porch for evenings.Just was a perfect fit for our family. And the owner Wendy is extremely quick to fix any issues (we had a switch problem and toilet seat-thats all) We are hoping to come back next year and rent the whole house- there's a stairway that can be accessed to connect both units. We were very satisfied with out stay and the process. The only suggestion we would make is to add baby gates at the top of the porch steps and the top of the steps just off the living room. The house was clean and lovely. It included beach chairs, umbrellas and beach tags, which we greatly appreciated. Fantastic location. Easy walk to shops, take out and beach. We did opt to use the beaches in the higher teen streets as they were a bit less crowded, but loved being able to walk to many coffee/ice cream/ food options. Great furnished covered front porch. There was also a gas grill shared with the house next door. Minor inconveniences: upstairs neighbors were noisy and a few of the cooking pans have seen better non-stick days :). There were 14 of us that shared the first floor of the home on Wesley, and there was so much room. The fact that we could spread out and not be on top of each other was a huge plus. The home was exactly as described and as pictured in the listing. It was perfect for us. And the oohs and aahs I heard from the family told me they’ll enjoy staying there. It was well equipped with everything needed - some nights we ordered out, some we dined out - but what we enjoyed was cooking breakfast as a family, and having plenty of room to sit and eat. The location was also perfect, just a short couple blocks to anything you want or need - restaurants, groceries, gym, boardwalk, rides, water park. And a very short drive (5 minutes) to the bay for fishing and jet skiing. And the nice thing is the street is quiet at night. A lot of times when renting, you don’t get to talk to, let alone meet, the actual homeowner. Well, we got to meet Wendy, and spent some time chatting. Wendy was the perfect host- from the moment we arrived to the time we left. She was responsive, and cared enough to ask if there was anything else we needed that wasn’t currently available. You won’t be disappointed by renting this location, and from Wendy. Vacation is meant to take all stress away and recover from life’s constant go. Renting here and from Wendy will help you accomplish that task. Hopefully that helps any future renters make their decision. The house was great with plenty of room. We love the location being 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to Asbury with lots of restaurants close by. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere. It is so nice that the house comes with beach chairs, toys, a cart as well. The listing says it comes with 3 parking spots - one in the garage and 2 behind. The upstairs rental gets the same. While it is possible to fit 4 cars in the driveway, none of the car doors would be able to be opened. It is super tight. So, we just used one spot in the garage, one behind and found street parking for the others. We parked far away at first but in the evenings it is pretty easy to find a spot right in front of the house and keep it for the rest of the week. Overall, a fun family stay. ##### Heather S. I find it challenging to book a house that I haven't seen in person because let's face it, pictures can be deceiving. However, the Queen of Wesley was just like the pictures online. It's a beautiful house that is well maintained and beautifully decorated. We had four generations vacationing together for a week and there was plenty of room for all of us, with enough space for all of us to be together as well as enough space for us to spread out and everyone do their own thing. The front porch is great for just relaxing, enjoying the breeze and people watching. The location is perfect! You can easily walk to the beach and the boardwalk or go the other direction and walk to the shops on Asbury, restaurants, etc. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and very accessible to address any concerns we might have had during our stay.
