There are alot of stairs so make sure no one, including your dog, has mobility issues. The covered back deck with a gate that enabled us to contain our dog to that area was great. He could be outside soaking up the sights and smells while we could be inside and watch him with ease. The king size bed in the Master Bedroom was divine!! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to see a table top fan at the bedside. We sleep with a fan beside our bed at home so this, coupled with a comfortable mattress, helped us sleep soundly every night. The property is so dog friendly they even provided two dog beds, dog towels, and water bowls. All of the appliances—tv, lamps, etc. worked just fine. We didn’t have a boat so we didn’t have need to use the boat lift. We felt the distance to the beach was too far for us to walk, especially with our senior dog, so we drove to the Atlantic Beach public beach access parking which is easy to get to from the property.
