The cottage is in close proximity to Downtown Decatur and had everything we needed. It’s in a quiet, nice neighborhood !
Dawn was great with communication and a real pleasure to speak to. The cottage is a definite when we return to Atlanta.
I love how the owner paid attention to details!! The showerhead is really nice in the bed is super comfortable!! For someone traveling for medical reasons, this place was perfect!! It fit my exact needs, and I love the privacy 🌺
We stayed here to visit our daughter for the week. I thought the property was great. Nice neighborhood, convenient to the town square yet out of the way. The cottage was just the right size for two. However, our check-in was odd. The manager didn't expect us and didn't act like she even had vrbo rentals. I don't know if that's a vrbo issue (she later said we were expected a day later) or not.
This place checked all the boxes. A very cool, comfortable cottage on a quiet street, close to MARTA and the square. Dawn, the host, was responsive and friendly. Her back yard provided plenty of great sniffs for our terrier! We loved the place, and are already talking about booking next year.
Very cute cottage on a cul-de-sac, so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Comfortable, clean, relaxing. I walked from the cottage to Decatur town square, 10 minutes. Also walked from Avondale MARTA station, 10 minutes.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The cottage was located in a private backyard. The home is at the end of a dead end street. Located neat Decatur Square and Oakhurst - many wonderful restaurants and a short drive to Atalanta’s museums, zoo etc.

Perfect city cottage!
I absolutely loved staying in this little city gem during our trip to Atlanta! The cabin is very clean, spacious, and homey. Dawn was such a gracious host and she made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. The cabin was fully stocked with essentials (toiletries, coffee, dishware, snacks) and we watched quite a few movies on Netflix! It's located very close to downtown Decatur and we fell in love with the neighborhood. We'll definitely be staying here next time we're in town!

Liked: Listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
The cleaning person was ICE detained. No cleaning. We had to rebook and take a refund
Location was great. My only compliant is we're not use to window a/c and it was noisy right next to the bed. Also went to make a cocktail and the ice trays were empty of ice in the freezer.
We were visiting our daughter and this was a 5 minute walk through a very nice neighborhood to get to her apartment. Also an easy 10 - 15 minute walk to downtown Decatur. Cottage does tend to be a bit dark, but it was lovely sitting on the front porch listening to all the birds and the neighborhood was very quiet.
As a matter of personal taste, the mattress was too soft for us, if you have back issues that could be a problem.

Perfect cottage and wonderful owners
Stayed 5 nights while visiting Atl with my 2 kids. It was a great experience. Dawn and her family welcomed us and took care of everything. My kids enjoyed the fenced-in back yard with swingset, trampoline, zip-line...and with Lolli the bunny hopping around the entertainment never stopped. Great cottage with privacy if you are looking to be in the Decatur area. Owners make you feel like part of the family. Close to great restaurants & shopping. Fernbank Museum was great. I highly recommend this rental. Everything was easy.
The owner was helpful. I told here there were cockroaches in the unit but she came to the unit and explained that the cockroaches were actually palmetto bugs and only come in after in rains.I didn't understand how to get off the property the moring after I checked in, but the owner explained that there is a hole in the fence that you put your hand through to lift the handle. The stove top had only 1 of 4 burners working but the owner explained that there was a hot top in the kitchen.
The back yard looks NOTHING like the pictures. It has a damp basement ordor. We walked in and instantly the ordor hit us. My family member has terrible allergies so we decided it would be best not to stay.
This quiet cottage at the end of a dead-end street was comfortable. It was simply too hot in late June (with the heat wave) to do any walking to the downtown Decatur area, but we did enjoy the neighborhood walks and parks nearby early in the morning and late evenings. The cottage is charmingly outfitted and comfortable, but there is no "laundry facility" as the listing suggests (I know Dawn is working to fix it). She was gracious enough to let us do a load of laundry in the main house as we had just arrived after 5 days of camping! Our dog was grateful for the yard and the little patio was perfect for us to hangout (when it got cool enough to after 7 PM). The main house was empty so there was plenty of privacy for us, but I wonder how that might be if it were occupied. The kitchenette is in the sleeping space, so we found lingering food smells after cooking small meals.
