Located in Shadowbrook within the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur. Oakhurst is a historic, walkable, family-friendly community with a small village of shops and restaurants, several community parks (Oakhurst Park, Mead Road Park, McKoy Park), and nearby Decatur Square with cafés, restaurants, and events. The vibe is residential and community-oriented with mature trees and sidewalks; Agnes Scott College and other neighborhood institutions are a short drive away.

Most guests use a car, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), or local bike/scooter for short trips. Drive time: ~10 minutes to Decatur Square, ~15–25 minutes to downtown Atlanta depending on traffic. Nearest MARTA rail access: Decatur or Avondale stations (both on the Blue Line), each a 5–15 minute drive and available via short rideshare trip or driving+parking. Several local bus routes and MARTA bus connections run along major nearby corridors. The area is moderately walkable for nearby parks and the closest village amenities, but not highly walkable to MARTA from Shadowbrook.

➤ Split-level home: The home has 8 steps at the entrance and multiple levels, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
➤ Garage: The garage is not available for guest use.
➤ Fireplace: The fireplace is decorative only and may not be used.
➤ Long-Term Stays: For stays of 30 nights or more, guests are required to sign a standard lease agreement. This will be sent after booking and must be completed before check-in.
➤ Security: For your safety and peace of mind, the property is equipped with smart locks and exterior cameras.
➤ Last-Minute Bookings: For reservations made within 48-72 hours of arrival, our standard check-in time is 7 PM. We may be able to accommodate an earlier 4 PM check-in upon request; please let us know your needs, and we will do our best to assist.
