Something happened to my original place but they gave me two options that I really liked better. It was clean and quick for me to get to market without the traffic. While I typically like to highlight the good — and there were WAY more pros than cons — I will point out things you might want to anticipate (let’s face it… that’s why people read reviews lol). Anticipate A LOT of text messages pre/during/post stay. They take “checking in” to whole other level. Also, bring a sleeping mask. The porch stays lit at night and the light from the cars come through at night sometimes and there aren’t any blackout curtains (currently). Add ons not clearly told until after the commitment to book. Host did not provide key code until prompted as we stood at the property door well after check in time. The property smelled like there was a toilet leak or had not been properly cleaned. Smelled like a urinal in the bathroom and all the cloth items including the bedding took on that smell. The host took two days to respond to the initial cleanliness review and told us they would contact us with a resolution. No team member ever responded in any way other than they would alert another team to address the problem. We were texted after we checked out of the property, on time, that we had not checked out and were instructed to to leave. Pretty pictures of the property and all the well appointed amenities and conveniences do not fix the need to deep clean, respond to cleanliness concerns, constructive criticism and management the property as an individual owner would have done. VRBO should not work with this management team, they did not do as well as an individual owner. Worst experience with VRBO we have had.
