Avoid! This place is a disaster in every way. The recorded message on taking the shuttle from JFK were incorrect. After I called the hotel the staff were unhelpful and didn't send a bus. Finally the Westin hotel bus gave us a ride. Consider staying there, only a block away and much nicer! While on the Westin bus the hotel called me to confirm our reservation. When I said yes they hung up, called me back asking for a different person, then hung up again when I said who I was. Also, they don't have their own shuttle, it's a shared shuttle running hourly.
Upon arrival the staff were rude and short and not helpful checking in. The hotel lobby is closed.
Our room was disgusting. Large hairballs were all over the comforters, the "white" sheets had bloodstains and other stains and holes everywhere in both beds, the pillows looked like they were 30 years old and had no fluff and there were blood stains on the wall above our headboard (yes, blood, I'm a doctor, I know blood).
If you're still considering staying here, the worst part was actually the noise. Between the paper thin walls, the low overhead airplanes and the very sketchy cliental staying there, it was far too loud to sleep.
It seems the standards Days Inn corporation use are more lenient than I thought. I've stayed at nice Days Inns before. This was worst than most hotels I've stayed in around the world, top three in a bad way. Considering hotels nearby are only $5 more, rethink your plan to book here.
