You can hear every footfall and the dogs nails as she runs around. Seemed to me that the dog was getting ready to be taken for a walk, so may be only one particular area of the upstairs. However, it is easily loud enough to wake you from sleep, so not a big deal if you are getting up early, but if you hope to sleep in, it is a problem. ##### Richard O.
