This hotel was clean in the lobby. Despite the abandoned buildings and graffitti nearby, I was pleased with the inside. Our room was nice. The bathroom needs work/ cleaning. There were tiny used band-aids on the floor. The toilet roll holder was falling off. The water pressure was terrible. The beds were only so so and need replacing. My daughter said she saw a roach crawl across the wall. Lights were not all working. We were in our room late after a concert and left early, otherwise we would have complained. Thankful for locks and it was safe in our room. This property may be the closest (only?) property to the Lakewood Amphitheater and it seemed that everyone there were concert goers.
The breakfast was incredible and made up for it all. (Which is great since there's literally nothing to eat anywhere else as we drove around looking). Full breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy (they did not replenish this so i didn't get to try it), fresh waffles, cereal, juice, toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt, milk.... my kids ate so much and it was mostly healthy. I'd give this property a 3.5 if I could because the breakfast and staff were nice, losing stars for the bed and dirty bathroom.
