8.2/10 Very good! (71 reviews)
Disappointed. Price seemed cheap and there is a reason for it.
Arrived wanting to go for a swim but pool was closed due to boiler breakdown & steam room shut closed as broken door. We choose the hotel for the spa facilities.
Bedroom was ok, 1 bedside table for a double & single bed. Furniture & bathroom were dated and need an upgrade. Heating in the room didn't seem to work. Lift out of order. Carpet in hallways stained & fraying.
Breakfast, when I went to the buffet there was beans, mushrooms & tomatoes. Had to wait for sausages, then eggs, then bacon. Continental was basic. Plus plates at the buffet were dirty, went through 5 before I found a clean one.
If you want a reasonable hotel with a clean bed & ok breakfast this hotel is ok.

Having stayed in many hotels in the past this is the worst experience I have had. The reception staff were most unhelpful in fact very rude, made to feel as if we were inconveniencing him
