A warm welcome when we arrived although maybe a few more pieces of general information about the hotel would have been useful.
The room was a nice large room with all the expected amenities. A nice touch with a chocolate by the bed but as it was booked as a double, not sure why there was only one?
The bed was exceedingly comfortable. I had a knee replacement a few weeks ago and I can honestly say that I had the best nights sleep since I had the operation.
The staff in the bar and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we were too slow at eating dinner and the desserts we wanted were all gone.
Breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of choice and the option to order other hot choices if you wanted.
We would definitely stay here again.

"Great hotel, nice comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Food was OK with a decent choice. Like most village hotels there is only one lift and it was out of order on this visit so everyone had to lug their cases up the stairs which is not ideal!"
