Asti Holidays from £800

The room that we were given on the second floor at 9:30pm was an uncleaned DayUse room full of wet dirty towels and smelt of spicy sleep. They "upgraded" us to a room with a balcony and full kitchen. By 11pm we got in bed in the new room to find the sheets are still VERY damp. Unfortunately the stove smells horribly of burnt food and half the burners don't work, 1 even cut out WHILE COOKING. The oven smells horrible when turned on for use. The keycard reader on the door resets or something because i had to get a new key every day. The power went out while getting ready for work on the 2nd but somehow some electricity was still surging as my microwave lights worked and spun but did not cook. I'm very upset at how much money was spent on things that did not work and we did not even get to relax. The communication was strictly kept to email as the phone stopped working and became dismal and spread out with no true responses accepting accountability. I have pictures and videos to back my claims. I request full recompence, thank you.

The view of the bay was great with groups rowing on the water jn the evenings. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Had to pay extra for parking. Real plates and silverware for breakfast was nice but the food was the usual instant eggs, etc. Didn't like the half shower door. Water got on the floor. And the open closet was a hazard. Accidentally walked into the clothes rod and bumped my head.

Great stay and location!

I wouldn't stay here. The hallway leading up to the room smelled like urine, the room did not, however there were dead ants on and around the tub, the toilet lid was left up as if a male had used it last, and then the previous people's room card envelope was still on the desk so I BELIEVE our room was never cleaned fully between guests. Upon checking in some folks were coming in with cases of beer and a large boom box. I don't know where they roomed, but next door was playing loud music well after midnight. I could also hear some kind of loud fan/vent from the other room near us, so thin walls. The mattress was okay, but the pillows were old and worn. When you laid your head on it, all the stuffing had matted. It felt like you were laying on a bunch of separated dense cotton balls. When we were leaving in the morning, the parking lot was a complete mess. The "security" door that is supposed to always be locked and should only be accessed with a room card, did not latch. It had black duct tape taped around it almost as to keep it open. The ice machine did not produce work. To be fair, I did not complain or ask to be moved as it was late, and I had my (elderly) parents were too tired to make the move. This hotel on Expedia was inexpensive, so I was weary. I chose it because it had 8.4 stars and we wanted Queen beds, which it provided. We later joked that perhaps it should have been 4.8 stars and someone transposed the numbers.
