The Aspire Zone is one of Qatar’s largest sporting complexes. Built to host the 2006 Asian Games, its facilities are now used regularly for national events and training camps. Sites are prepared to host international athletic events as well. Visit the Aspire Zone to see state-of-the-art stadiums and architecture. Relax in the pretty, expansive park. In the heart of the complex, Khalifa International Stadium is an impressive structure where teams battle for soccer glory. Just north, look for Aspetar, the region’s first orthopedic and sports medicine hospital. The hospital is a medical center of excellence, an important facility for competitive international teams. Look for the blue roof of the Aspire Dome. One of the world’s largest indoor multi-purpose domes, it can seat 15,500 spectators in 13 multi-sports halls. Within these facilities, Qatar has established the Aspire Academy, with the goal of finding and nurturing Qatari athletes, focusing on both sports and academic development. Aspire Park, one of Doha’s largest green spaces, is loved by locals and visitors for its beautifully kept gardens. Its large lake is the only one in Qatar. Spot aquatic animals in the lake, relax on the grass, enjoy a coffee in the pleasant café or let the kids burn off energy in the play areas. A good running track weaves between baobab trees and past the lake. Part of the Aspire Zone is the 1,000-foot-high (300-meter) Aspire Hotel, which held the torch for the Asian Games. This towering building has become a city icon and offers 360-degree panoramic views. Watch at night as it is illuminated in a dazzling array of colors. The Aspire Zone is behind the Hyatt Plaza Mall and the grand Villaggio Mall, which offers luxury shopping in sophisticated and air-conditioned passages. One corridor even has a canal running through it. Find the Aspire Zone in Baaya Municipality, 8 miles (13 kilometers) from Doha city center. Travel by bus from Al Ghanim Station in 40 minutes or arrive by taxi in 30 minutes. The park is open year round. (24 reviews) Staff and clean and spacious room. Bushra at the reception was very welcoming, pleasant and attentive. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. I liked that the hotel is well located. Easy access by walk to market, ATMs, Foreign exchage place as well as a bus stop that brings you to the metro I would have given excellent had there to be proper kitchen amenities. I would suggest that there be at least enough crockery and cuttlery for 2 people. Since hot plate is provided on request then there should be at least one pot and dish soap to clean.
