Lovely hotel on a lovely property. Very quiet and comfortable. We had a junior suite and it was spacious and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant was quite good, and we truly enjoyed our meals there.

conveniently located small, quiet hotel. Large size bath Lovely balcony Trees and garden view Quiet area Large room Nice sitting area. Foo foo lamp that took up desk space Large number of power outlets USB A outlet by bed Very comfortable bed . Lack of storage in bathroom Nowhere to hang wet towels to dry . Lack of space to out toiletries . Fine if a single person but for a couple , tricky . A shelf above the sink would help Or adding Big towel rails on the doors or Above the toilet . Shower door leaked water onto floor once . Shower door height was too low so had to hold shower head towards shower corner Anyone above 5 feet in height would struggle. single , small elevator, steep stairs

9.4/10 Exceptional! (619 reviews)
I've been staying at the Conservatorium regularly for 12 years now, and it is remarkably consistent: great location, awesome people, striking architecture, and the best gym of all the 5-star hotels in Amsterdam. This year, though, there was one welcome change and one not-so-great one: the breakfast has improved, with the addition of a buffet, which is convenient. But they also seem to have started letting local residents use the gym, so it's now super-packed at all hours, and you have to wait for machines. The gym has always been a big part of why I stayed there, so that's disappointing.

Daily breakfast was great, although the same thing was served daily. Hotel is accessible to everything. Close to restaurants. The downside is the room has no drawers for clothing storage and not much good lighting to put on makeup.

"The property was perfectly fine and in a great location just outside of the train station and close to a taxi stand and public transportation hub. Check-in and out were quick and painless, and they held my luggage for me on the last day. The convenience store in the lobby was a nice touch, and though ..."

9.2/10 Wonderful! (327 reviews)
"This place was just weird. The small lobby reeked of cheap cologne - I had to hold my breath every time I walked through. You could smell it outside the main entrance, in the elevator and in the hallways. Nasty smelling stuff. The room was strange. The bathroom shower with clear glass shower door ..."

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Asperen travel package cost?
Our Asperen packages, which start at just £224, are the best way to save precious money. Select your preferred hotels, flights and more to create a custom-built escape.
If I'm not able to travel, can I cancel my Asperen travel package?
It's difficult to predict what the future holds, so it's good to know that you can cancel or change your Asperen travel package. If you booked in the last 24 hours, you may be entitled to a refund. If your booking is older, your hotel, airline or car rental company may charge a fee. Visit our Customer Service Portal to find out more.
How do I get a cheap travel package to Asperen?
One of the simplest ways to save money (and time) is to bundle your bookings with Expedia. Flights, hotels, activities and rental cars — we've got them all. Select the combination that best suits you and see your savings pile up. Of course, a travel package is never one-size-fits-all. That's why Expedia offers over 550 airlines and 1,000,000 hotels from all over the world, which lets you customize your Asperen getaway.
Does Expedia offer Book Now, Pay Later Asperen holidays?
Good news! We do. Expedia has joined forces with online lender Klarna to help you conveniently pay for your holiday in manageable instalments. Simply click on the payment plan that suits you best during checkout and take the stress out of budgeting for your trip. Don't forget to bundle your accommodation, flights and activities with Expedia to get the biggest bang for your holiday buck. Take a look at our flexible payment options below:

  • Pay monthly holidays: Jet off on that dream holiday sooner with Klarna's monthly instalment plans. If paying small amounts each month works for you, pick this option during the checkout process.
  • Pay in instalments holidays: If you want to pay for your escape in multiple transactions, holidays paid in instalments might be the right choice for your Book Now, Pay Later holiday through Klarna.
  • Low deposit holidays: If paying a small percentage of your getaway (rather than the full total upfront) makes it easier to click that "book now" button, consider a low deposit holiday payment plan with Klarna.

What are the top hotels in Asperen?
If it's comfort and convenience you're after, you can't go wrong with Hotel De Schildkamp. Spend your nights unwinding here and your days discovering Asperen's best sights.
How far in advance should I book my Asperen holiday?
It's hard to pick the perfect time for airfares, but we generally say the earlier, the better. Many international journeys on Expedia become available up to a year in advance. If you're booking at the last minute, don't fret. Budget prices occasionally appear just weeks before departure dates.
What does an Expedia Asperen travel package include?
Hotels, flights and a cool car for your road trip adventures. Simply choose your favourite bundle and gain access to great discounts. Once you've made your booking, add on a few activities and tours and watch your savings stack up. When it comes to planning your Asperen holiday, you're the boss!
What should I know before booking an Asperen travel package?
Our prices are already low. However, you'll snap up even more savings when you book your hotels, flights and car rentals together. With an Expedia package, you'll get transparent pricing and tons of choice.
Can I choose my airline with an Asperen Expedia travel package?
Yes — that's the beauty of an Expedia travel package. You can mix and match your flights, hotels and more. We have access to more than 550 airline partners worldwide, so you have lots of choice when arranging your Asperen trip.
