We arrived at the hotel the first day at 1pm and checked in with the front desk. They informed us that the room was not ready. We told them that we were going to explore the city and we will be back later. The front desk said, "no problem". When we returned to the hotel later that night, to our surprise, the room which was paid in advance was given away. The hotel was fully occupied. As a result, we had no room in that hotel that night. The hotel front desk eventually offered us another hotel room down the street on the condition that we check out early in the morning and move all of our luggage to the original hotel which still had no available rooms. It was late at night and we were tired so we accepted the offer. To add to the inconvenience, the room they offered had no air conditioning. On the subsequent days after, the new room in the original hotel booked had an issue with the shower hose which broke during showering and water was spraying everywhere and causing the water temperature to go to cold. Neither one of the rooms had working telephones that could communicate to the front desk so we had to walk down to the front desk. When we spoke to the front desk and spoke to them about our bad experience at their hotel and asked how they were they going to compensate us for this inconvenience, they responded by offering one free continental breakfast. This was insulting to us. Terrible experience!!!
