On your left as you walk up the drive you will find a carp pool, then the goldfish pool, then your own large pool, all set within your own private, well maintained, gardens. The pool is open from May to September. If booking outside of this time (when it’s cheaper) should you wish the pool to be available please let me know on booking. On arrival you can lock the gate behind you, and relax in your own, private, space. The house itself has 3 double bedrooms and one with twin singles. All with brand new mattresses and pillows and protectors for 2025. New for 2026 is a spacious, separate Gite with its own double bed, shower room and kitchen. All on one level, ideal for the less mobile. Downstairs, beyond the conservatory, is the well-appointed Kitchen, leading through to the lounge. There is a large TV with Free Sat and Firestick connected to the Wifi (Code for which you’ll find in the Welcome pack) Also on the ground floor is the library / music / games room . In here you’ll find a table football table. Through the door to a covered patio you’ll find the table tennis table. At the front of the house you’ll also find a small patio area, ideal for BBQ cooking. Whatever you like to do on holiday you can:  Splash In the pool  Feed the fish  Enjoy Meals Together  Lie In the sun in the private garden  Wander round the garden  Plan excursions to the many local attractions and sleepy towns.  Read Books  Listen to music (Bluetooth CD player in conservatory) Puy de Fou is a couple of hours away. Although not usually a fan of a theme park found it to be an incredible experience. Well worth the journey. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. From the first moment of interest in this property our host was attentive and quick to respond to any queries we had. Martyn went above and beyond, even proving a ping-pong table when asked if there was one already at the property. This was a kind and thoughtful gesture, it meant we could happily while-away the hours by the pool, or take part in our usual ping-pong championship matches Our only issue during the week was the cleaniness of the pool. However, by the end of the week it was virtually clear. Even though this put a dampener on the first few days when we couldnt use it, the mood was soon lightened as Martyn was responsive and apologetic and sought a solution asap. The house is a large space, with several rooms downstairs to relax or eat in. The kitchen and shower room are both well done and have a quality feel about them. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and pillows, and they all have shutters on to keep the light and heat out. We found that sound does travel, so if you're a light sleeper take some ear plugs so your sleep isn't disturbed by the others in your party. The external noise is almost none existent! The external grounds are also lovely to wander around the carp, goldfish, and frogs kept most of us mesmorised each evening. You are 10 minutes from a supermarket, where there is also laundry facilities too. From the property you can walk (or run if you're so inclined!) In any direction and take in the lovely countryside.
