A few short blocks to Ashland Plaza, Helman House boasts two large bedrooms, a king-size bed downstairs and two queens upstairs, two full baths, and a basic kitchen for light & simple meal preparation. Enjoy the bright kitchen nook for your sunny morning coffee or a long soak in the cast iron clawfoot tub that will spoil you with the charm of Old Ashland.

Convenient to the many theaters—including the world-renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival, boutique shops, award-winning wineries, and restaurants Ashland is famous for, Helman House is a home away from home for visitors eager to experience all Southern Oregon has to offer.

Two studio cottages are available separately behind the house off the brick terrace parking, making Helman House perfect for a multi-party getaway.

Comforts of home

We loved the Helman house. It had all the comforts of home. The location allowed us to walk to all our favorite places in Ashland. The security and getting in and out was so easy.

Sweet locale!

We traveled up to Ashland for the Shakespeare festival for our first time with family and absolutely loved this sweet house beautifully located within walking distance of downtown. It was clean and quiet and perfect for our visit.

Great Location

What a great place to stay in Ashland- the location is ideal-you can park the car off street and walk to restaurants, the food Coop and of, course the theatres! The kitchen is adequately supplied, bedrooms and baths nice and clean.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving. Home is located walking distance to everything Ashland! We had a little snafu checking in but the owner was immediately available to fix the problem. Would definitely stay here on our next visit.

Great Location, Beautiful House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Helman House. It's located less than a five or ten minute walk to downtown Ashland (theaters, restaurants and great shopping) and beautiful Lithia Park.Besides the great location, you will enjoy the luxurious bedding and comfortable beds! The adorable front porch with table set and rocking Adirondack chairs are perfect to sit, relax, and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the private, off the street parking spot.We enjoyed the different areas of the house to join together to eat, relax, talk and/or play games.The bathrooms were well stocked and there was plenty of hot water for all four of us to shower each day. Extra bedding was easily available and the washer and dryer were very convenient! The house was clean and orderly and very comfortable.Sylvie is an excellent host - she responded very quickly to any questions we had before and during our stay! We will definitely stay at Helman House again!

The Helman House is a terrific home, well equipped and perfectly situated in Ashland. You can walk everywhere local to shopping, theater, restaurants and parks. Kay and Silvie are there when you need them as hosts. Book it and have a great stay in Ashland

Ashland Highlights

A friend of mine and I stayed to this property for three days. We fully enjoyed the location as it is within walking distance to most everything a tourist could want or need. The home was clean, the beds comfortable and the front porch peacefully quite. All was as it was advertised to be and our host made herself available to answer questions and give recommendations. An easy place to return to should we find need for accommodations in Ashland sometime in the future.
