As always staff and service excellent, however we had poor WiFi reception in our room this time but there was renovation works being carried out on other floors which may have effected the signal.. Cooked breakfast is always tasty and well served! Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon :)

Accommodating and pleasant friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room. Good dining options plus varied and freshly cooked breakfast. Situated close enough to Ashford and access to the M20 and in a rural quite setting. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

little tired but good staff
Veryfriendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking space. Good size room but decor was quite tired. The armchairs had warn upholstery, the carpet was well worn. This hotel is quite remote from any town or facilities.

Unfortunately we stayed during large renovations to the foyer, bar & dining room so my low score is reflective of the state of the hotel at the time of our stay. I had prepaid with no refund but if I’d known about the renovations I would not have booked here. Staff were helpful and provided room service for meals but we really wanted to sit in the bar upon arrival and relax. I read on another review the rib steak was very good and it didn’t disappoint. Other food ordered by our group was okay. Staff were very helpful. The room was quite dark with no overhead lighting and lamps didn’t really help other than mood lighting. Room was clean & spacious. SkyTV was a bonus.

Upon arrival I thought we were walking through Beirut. The entrance is a complete building site, I understand that refurbishments need to happen however guests should at least be pre earned as a matter of courtesy. The kids play area opposite was closed, the gym was closed, I couldn’t even be bothered after that to look at anything else. I thought I’d just got off a dingy in Dover when breakfast was served to me in a brown paper bag. The one positive I have is the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is undergoing renovation, which we understood when we booked. We only stayed a single night as a stopover after returning from France. Reason we booked was air con was available, something lacking in the sweaty Premier Inns, which are prevalent in this area. Hotel is tired and in need of renovation, but was clean and we had a comfortable night. I booked breakfast, but only thing available was a grab and go bag full of sugary rubbish - skip that and pick up something outside of hotel if you need breakfast.

Corona strikes again
The check in was good But the system used for us to order meals and drink via room service needs rethinking .in the room there is no menu ! You could put the menu on the door like the fire instructions .. l realise this is because of Corona hence my tip of putting menu on the door this way it will not get touched .. the girl on the desk said l should photograph the menu in reception ... Not really the best way though ... The breakfast was not the best really .1 baby bell cheese no bread or bread roll two very small sweet cakes and a slice of pineapple and a slice of melon ...not really worth at all what we paid .. and the coffee was undrinkable ... So all in all the breakfast really let's the hotel down

Very clean and pleasant
It was a pleasant stay. More importantly, the hotel was observing the 2 meter social distancing and hand sanitisers were available at the reception desk and on the way out. Inside, the room was clean and air conditioner was perfect on a hot day.

Very nice room with a large comfortable bed and large screen TV with Sky. Had rib eye steak in the restaurant which was cooked well and the Stilton sauce was delicious.

The Hotel was clean and nicely laid out the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was great not too big or small with a nice sized tv with plenty of channels etc the WiFi worked great (I was as far away from the reception area as you could get and signal strength was really good) My only personal issue was the bed was a bit too soft for me i usally prefer a solid mattress but others would have loved the bed. Overall a good place for a couple of nights

We had a few issues with the condition of our room but had a good night sleep in the clean comfy bed. The staff were polite and helpful, the breakfast was 9/10. evening meal was excellent 10/10. Would we stay again..... yes

Lovely room with really comfortable beds. The only complaint I have is that there was a dreadful draught coming from the windows that are very old...definitely need replacing !! Staff were lovely though and very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Have stayed here before and will again but please update the windows !

One night stop over.
Excellent service. Lady at the check in desk on Monday morning was extremely helpful. She helped us with some last minute paperwork we needed, it was an extremely important part of our holiday. The room was very comfortable and the temperature just right. Breakfast was very nice and service again, very good. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Ok for the night but room needs upgrades
Hotel was further from Ashford than anticipated. Reception and parking were good but the room had a broken handle on the window and one of the beds had a really big sinkhole / depression where people sat /slept right in front of the TV. Bathroom look alright on arrival but the ceiling was covered in black mould spots. Room 140.

Great service, lovely staff, and all very clean but the hotel is really tired and in need of some updating. Would stay again though as a stopover on route to Europe, especially for the price.
