The Cove at Fairview is open again! Our rental homes are as inviting as ever.
There are many things to do in the Asheville Area. You have your choice of many restaurants, bars, and breweries in both Fairview and nearby Asheville.
The Biltmore House, the Arboretum, the Asheville Museum, and parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway (with access to some trails) are all open.
Go shopping downtown, play pinball at the Asheville Pinball Museum, take a comedy bus tour with LaZoom, go horseback riding, get a massage, or simply relax in the serenity of nature at your rental home. Oh, and don’t forget to get carrots for the horses, mini-donkeys, and our goat!

"My Place" is a great place to getaway from it all! This elegant home features vaulted ceilings, hand-crafted rock-work, and wormy chestnut refurbished wood. There is one indoor rock fireplace and one on the front flagstone patio. These two fireplaces were handcrafted by a local artisan (some wood provided). While you relax around the fire, enjoy wireless internet connection. Soak your worries away in the hot tub on the back rock patio.

"My Place" is nestled in a mountain cove, with a year-round view of local mountains. In the winter, there is a distant view that will take your breath away. Nourish yourself in this peaceful cove while you enjoy the hospitality of the Smoky Mountains. The Cove at Fairview is conveniently located – just 15 minutes to The Biltmore House, 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, and 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Fine dining, local festivals, and mountain vistas are some of the local attractions our guests enjoy.

The Game Room has something for kids of all ages – a pool table, HD-TV on a 40 Inch Flat Screen, foosball, and board games. The Living Room features HD-TV on a Flat Screen with Blu-ray and Surround Sound. The fully-equipped kitchen features granite counter tops and a convenient layout for cooking and gathering with friends. This home is always impeccably clean. Outside, there are many places to sit and enjoy the woods. There are horses, chickens and Koi fish- if you feel like visiting the animals. Fresh eggs from our chickens provided. This elegant home features exceptional high-tech and rustic amenities.

The property is meticulously maintained and embraced by breathtaking mountain and forest vistas. The home was built with exceptional attention to detail and adorned to honor the family’s rich heritage and connection to place. Upon arrival we were greeted by owner, who acclimated us to the property and surrounding areas, offering numerous suggestions for places to visit and eat during our stay. Our stay was a year after the horrific floods and landslides from Hurricane Helene, and in spite of the devastation and ongoing efforts to repair and restore roads and structures, the local community is as resilient and welcoming as ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain vacation and highly recommend this property, the local businesses and town as a wonderful place to visit.

Great Stay

Had a wonderful time at Frank's property! We really enjoyed the amenities—the hot tub, pool table, and foosball. There was plenty of space to gather while also having room to spread out. Frank provided excellent recommendations for both Fairview and Asheville. The fresh eggs on arrival were a nice touch, and we loved feeding the animals—bring some carrots! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Relaxing Paradise

This property is secluded at the top of a long road that makes it feel as if you are on the top of a mountain by yourself. We had a chill bachelorette trip there and it was absolutely amazing!

Awesome place!!

Our stay at the “My Place” house at The Cove at Fairview” was wonderful. Frank was extremely hospitable and helpful. The house was very cozy, warm, spacious and inviting. Having a hot tub in 40 degree weather was an added bonus as well as the fresh eggs (an added treat!)We look forward to returning the the Cove this summer.

A great house for a family with kids. Great views and everything you need to have downtime after hiking or exploring during the day. Close to Chimney rock and Biltmore.

Peaceful Asheville retreat

We had a great stay here during a spring break trip to the Asheville area. Frank was a friendly and helpful host. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family of 6. The kids enjoyed the loft game space, fireplaces, hot tub, and farm fresh eggs.

Excellent stay! Would love to come back.

We loved staying on this property for so many reasons. The house was very comfortable and as advertised. There was plenty of room for our party of 8, 3 of which were children. Also, the animals and koi ponds on the property added an extra element of fun for the kiddos and adults. Frank, the owner, was extremely responsive and kind!

Wonderful family getaway

My family came to visit the Biltmore, do some sightseeing, and shopping. We had a great stay at “Our Place”. Frank, the host, was great and very helpful. He gave us some great suggestions on places to eat and visit and things to do! It was a wonderful time. Thank you!

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The animals we fed were definitely a plus. The location was excellent. The only fault we found is the bed in the master is worn and sags in the middle, but we made do since we were only there a couple of days. Everything else was wonderful!

Massive property!! Much to enjoy

Great communication with host. Many things to enjoy while there; hot tub, outdoor fireplace, pool table, large kitchen, privacy and fresh eggs in kitchen!! Only negative, and not terrible, bedrooms do not have televisions. Would have no concerns coming back to stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!

Great Home and Location!

The home was perfect for our family getaway. Comfortable layout and furniture. Super quite and private. The owner was very helpful and greeted us when we arrived to give us some pointers on the house and recommendations. The hobby farm was great! My daughter enjoyed feeding the donkeys, goats and houses carrots. Fresh eggs from the farm too!

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Owner

We spent a three day weekend in this home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner was very communicative and walked us through everything we needed to know. My favorite part of the house is the outdoor stone fireplace and porch. So beautiful and relaxing. The hot tub was also amazing. I highly recommend this property! Bring carrots for the farm animals!

Exceeded expectations!

The hosts were super responsive and helpful before we arrived and during our stay. The location was perfect, the cabin and property were lovely, and everything about our stay was picture perfect. We will return in the future and appreciate the hosts sharing their amazing home with us. This is a fantastic place to put your feet up and unwind, while only 15 minutes from Asheville, so you have the best of both worlds. Fantastic way to ring in 2024!!!

Hidden Gem

We had a total of 6 adults staying in the spacious home. Several things to do that distract you from the busy part of life. Great family time with many destinations just a short drive away: Chimney Rock, Dupoint Forest, Biltmore Resort, Omni Resort, Blue Ridge Parkway, Rise Above Bakery (a must visit) and downtown Asheville. 5 plus stay.

Charming home in the mountains

The owner was there to meet us on arrival. Frank gave us a walkthrough and told us about the house, his farm and great places to check out in the area. An especially charming touch was a gift of a dozen eggs, which we certainly made use of. He invited us down to meet the animals, which we did the next morning. An unusual touch was an outdoor fireplace on the porch, complete with firewood. Everything about this place spelled charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful property! NC Strong

From the hot tub, to the comfortable beds, to the laundry detergent, to the farm fresh eggs, this house comes with everything you need for a great stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, with a large dining room table for working, eating and playing cards. Kids especially loved the hot tub, pool table, foosball table and animals in the barn. Frank went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay, sharing the best local spots, making horseback riding reservations for us, and even opening up another one of his properties so I could have a private massage when the kids' plans were cancelled due to rain! Despite the closures and destruction from Helene, there was plenty to do and see. Do what you can to help Western NC by supporting local businesses, starting with this family-owned rental property. We look forward to coming back soon!

Long weekend for a destination wedding

The house was very nice and had all the amenities. The hot tub area and the outdoor fireplace were really nice, we used both. Down the hill, up in the woods is a Koi Pond and a nice sitting area, cool spot to sit and relax. Check-in/check-out was smooth and easy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including a Keurig. The free eggs were a nice perk, we ate them all. The only thing that could have been better were the beds. The bed with the wooden canopy was very nice. The other bedroom on the lower floor our friends stayed in and said the mattress was not very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom had a twin and a single, not a great set-up for a couple. Neither bed is big enough for 2 people. I took 1 star off for this. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Phenomenal Cabin

We loved this ultra modern cabin with clean uptodate facility and property. Best of all there are farm animals which my kids loved it so much and made the trip so much more memorable for our vacation. The communication from the Property owner is beyond exceptional
