Beautiful space inside and outside! "My Roundette" is a great place for a romantic get-away or a private retreat. Relax in the comfort of this charming roundette. Watch the moon rise over the mountains from a private hot tub. Enjoy the beauty of our Koi Pond. The Koi Pond features a waterfall and a fountain. This home features a flat screen HDTV, a hand-made sassafras bed, and a fully-equipped kitchen with a Jenn-Air Range. Enjoy the rustic elegance of refurbished wood. The walls are finished with refurbished heart pine, and there is furniture made from refurbished wormy chestnut. The Cove at Fairview has many wonderful amenities. My Roundette has a new propane grill and a firepit (propane provided). Visit our three horses and two miniature donkeys – they always love carrots. This is the best house to stay in for feeding the barn animals. Fresh eggs from our chickens are provided. We also have an electric charging station. This Level 2 EV Fast Charger is available free of charge. The Cove at Fairview is located just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House. We are only 10 minutes to The Blue Ridge Parkway. The property is quaint and peaceful and the fresh farm eggs were wonderful! We adventured 30 min away and rode horses through the National Forest at Saddle Up, enjoyed local meats, cheeses, sandwiches and smoothies at Trout Lily, and found an amazing blues band at the Local Joint. My daughter especially enjoyed feeding the animals in the barn every day. The house is clean and with all we needs. The host is very nice to walk through the house and surrounding when we checked in. The flowering plants were in full bloom and the setting was gorgeous. We felt like we had escaped to a quaint, mountain retreat. The owners were knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for places to visit and eat. A couple of highlights included the fresh eggs and a chance to see the horses, chickens, and goats. Beautiful setting and a shorter drive to the city than the map suggests. Loved the animals and the outdoor spaces. All the amenities were perfect for a quiet couples getaway. Looking for mostly a place to hang out while we experienced Asheville, we were amazed at our time at the house. From staring at the stars in the hot tub each night to a massage inside our house one afternoon, our whole trip was so great. We are already planning the next trip and will definitely be staying at the Cove at Fairview, if at all possible. Upon arrival he was very welcoming and told us all we needed to know about the location and gave us invaluable suggestions on places to go, etc. The property was beautiful, well-kept, and relaxing - we could not have asked for more. This is definitely a fantastic spot for animal lovers. The critters at their hobby farm were a delight to interact with and the eggs were delicious if you decide to stay in for breakfast! Everything was perfect! We stayed in 2011 and had plans to return but was hesitant with the recent Hurricane damage. Yes, there were some small inconveniences around the area with food and drink options but nothing that deterred our stay. This was a fantastic getaway and very relaxing.
