Stunning 18th Century Chapel 6 bedrooms 6 en suite Large Kitchen & Living Room

The Old Chapel is a one-of-a-kind, stunning property in the beautiful Peak District countryside, with all the comforts of modern living, including superfast 150mbps broadband. Each of the bedrooms has its own en suite. The property has delightful gardens, ample parking, and an easy walk to the village pub.
Beautiful walks are right on the doorstep, including a trail to the famous Thor's Cave landmark. With only a 20-minute drive to Ashbourne, shops and other amenities are easily accessible.

A stunning, spacious 18th-century chapel in the picturesque Peak District.

Because of the beautiful vaulted ceilings, most of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor. Each has its own en suite with hairdryers provided and two of the bedrooms can be configured to have two singles each. There are two kitchens on the property, one large complete one with a 12-person dining area and comfy sofa area, and a smaller one on the ground floor. Behind this ground floor kitchen is a boot room, to dry wet weather gear after those countryside walks. Besides the boot room is a side entrance for easy access to the kitchen and boot room.

On the first floor is where the living spaces are located (and a bedroom in the attic, accessible off of the living room via a spiral staircase). A Woodburner creates a focal point in the spacious first-floor lounge, off of which is a study where board games, books and OS maps are kept.

To the right of the property is a staircase that leads to the patio area with comfy seating and BBQ for those sunny days.

Four-pawed friends are very welcome, please note there is a maximum of 3 dogs, and they must be of mature age and not under the age of 1. All dogs must be well-behaved, there is a £20 charge per dog. Please bring your own dog's bedding /towels with you. Thank you.

We ask that guests are mindful of noise and respectful of neighbours when enjoying the rear patio areas.

Ten go walking in the Peak District
Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect
Beautiful property in heart of Peaks decorated and finished to highest quality. Exactly as described - a truly excellent find! Communication was clear and instantaneous. When we arrived the property was spotless and easy to access. Lots of space in the communal areas and all bedrooms en suite. Kitchen has everything you need with lots of cutlery and plates, glasses, mugs etc. There were 9 of us staying for a week - doing plenty of home cooking - we had all the utensils etc we could possibly use. Easy walking to Thor's Cave and short drive to Ashbourne, Buxton, Dovedale. There is a pub in the village - about 150 metres from house - we were made very welcome by the family who run it - good range of drinks and home-cooked food. Couldn't recommend this place more highly - excellent throughout.

Fabulous weekend!
We were all absolutely delighted with The Chapel. The whole place was beautiful and immaculately clean. There was a huge amount of indoor space, an attractive garden and ample parking room for 6 cars or more. The decor is lovely, and it must have been recently decorated, because all the accommodation was in showroom condition. The living room is comfortable and spacious. The huge kitchen is very well stocked with good quality pans and Denby tableware, lots of worktop space and cupboards, and with the big dining table, is definitely the heart of the house. The bedrooms were all well appointed with en suite bathrooms, good quality linen and plentiful hot water. We had some very enjoyable walks around the village, despite mixed weather. We took food and drink supplies with us, as there are not many shops nearby. The key word to describe the Chapel is quality. We were a group of ten adults with two dogs. We were all highly impressed and would love to go back again. Including the dogs!

Family celebration
We recently stayed at The Old Chapel for some long needed family time whilst celebrating a special birthday. The property is stunning and we had ample space for all 11 of us to eat together in the fabulous kitchen/dining area and relax in the evening in the amazing lounge! The bedrooms are all en-suite so everyone had their own personal space. James was very reassuring before our visit and was an excellent host - thank you for a memorable and very special weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice social space
Really nice house, beautiful peaceful location. Was really nice to get together with a couple of friend - living space is really large so lots of room. Lovely garden to sit in. Ample parking. Not much in walking or quick driving distance so recommend to stock up on supplies.
