"This is my third week in Tanzania. I have stayed in many different lodges and Airport Planet Lodge was by far the best. It is more expensive than many alternatives but definitely worth the extra, especially if you're looking for a bit of pampering after climbing Kili."

"This hotel is like an oasis in the busy centre of Arusha town, next to the Clock Tower. It is a hotel dating back to the 1930's but the renovations would lead you to believe it was built in the past 5 years. The gardens are luscious with lots of vegetation. There is a pool and gym on site but had no time to check out either. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and knowledgable. The restaurant menu was great for breakfast and dinner, with lots of options. The rooms were clean. Not much that can be said to prevent you from checking out this property on your next visit to Arusha town. We stayed for 2 nights and then had to move on but I could have stayed longer."
