This spacious, recently remodeled mountain house boasts an open floor plan with room for everyone upstairs. Additionally, you'll find 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Beds include 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 1 Twin bed, 2 Twin bunk beds, Futon and sleeper sofa) and 2.5 baths to accommodate groups, both large and small. But wait there’s more! The main floor features a secret kids loft, providing a special hideaway to explore and hideout. Plus there is a separate extra-large game room that is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of outdoor activities. You'll find a 3-in-1 adult-sized game table with pool, air hockey, ping pong, and as well as arcade games, board games, and a movie area with a 65" smart TV. During summer months, you'll enjoy the Big Trees Village Rec Center access, with 2 pools, snack bar, tennis & bocce more! Overachiever activities include: Skiing (downhill and cross-country), sledding and snowshoeing in winter; hiking, fishing (many great spots for both beginner as well as serious anglers), swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking and biking during the warmer months. Whether you want to chill out and drink your coffee from one of the decks, enjoy the quiet or an outdoor adventure, there is something year round for everyone. Underachiever activities include: Sleeping, stargazing from the deck, soaking in the jetted tub, reading by the warm woodstove and maybe even wine tasting in the nearby town of Murphys. Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there. Pet Policy: This cabin is not pet friendly - If a pet is brought to a non-pet friendly cabin, there will be a $1,000 fee charged to card on file. Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only). Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent. Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc. Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. This cabin is absolutely amazing; spotlessly clean, stylish, with a fantastic kitchen upstairs and a full spa-like bathroom downstairs (perfect for a long tub soak after a day on the trails). There is a gameroom with all the fun things you could want; we were just two but I imagine a family would have big fun here too. The location is 5 minutes from Calaveras Big Trees state park. There are tons of sequoias and great trails. Big Tree Village had 2 pools, pickle ball, bocce ball, Frisbee golf, basketball, four square, shuffle board, foosball, ping pong, and probably more. They do close at 5 most days which seemed kind of early, but we still enjoyed it. Also Big Tree Village is not in walking distance, just to let others know.We spent a day at Yosemite and a day at Lake Tahoe.The game room under the garage kept my sons busy. The owners were quick to respond when the a/c was not working properly and had it fixed the same day. I will mention a few MINOR issues/ complaints. The screen door in the living room was bent and didn't open/ close well. The sliding glass doors in the bedrooms didn't have screens so we were unable to open those in the evening. The queen bedroom didn't have a window, so a screen on the door would have been great. The listing was a bit misleading for the bedroom with bunk beds. It looked like there were 2 sets of twin bunk beds in the listing, but there is only one set of twin bunk beds, a twin trundle bed and a futon. (This was sufficient for our needs so this didn't affect us, I'm just pointing it out.) Both showers were not enclosed. They were each open so that it would get a bit cold while showering. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay over Memorial Day weekend! The house was clean and the remodel looks great! We especially enjoyed the huge jetted bathtub to unwind after hiking (and parenting). The game room is a great bonus to the house and is fully stocked with games and books for all ages of kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need (which is often not the case for rental cabins). We will definitely try to book again in the future! ##### Louisa F.
