Sleeps 8\. This home has 2 Bedrooms plus a split loft and 2 Baths. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with Queen size bed. Back left bedroom has a 50" Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, HBO (All internet compatible - no Comcast cable to this TV). The other bedroom has a TV with cable/Netflix/DVD player. Split loft upstairs has 2 Twins and a Queen bed on one side, and 2 twins and a trundle bed on the other side, along with a Pool Table, Foosball Table, Dart Board and 55” Smart TV, Stereo. The kitchen is well stocked and has a Keurig which makes both regular coffee and uses pods. Great room also has a 55” Smart TV, and a wood stove. Home offers cable TV/DVD, a very large DVD movie library, free US phone access, large deck with a charcoal BBQ (Guests should bring their own charcoal). Yard provides a great play area for kids of all ages with zip-line, a Slack Line for low level tight roping, tree fort/deck, horseshoe pit and hammock! A portable baby crib available upon request. Some winter snow play toys also for guest use. Well behaved dogs allowed upon Owner Approval - 2 dog maximum. No smoking. Bed linens and towels included. Only minutes from Bear Valley Ski Resort, Lake Alpine, Spicer Reservoir, and Calaveras Big Trees State Park. There's something to do year-round! Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there. Pet Policy: Well-behaved and housebroken dogs welcomed, but must not be left alone (must be over 1 year old - max 2 dogs) with $50 non-refundable pet fee (please include in your reservation notes how many pets you're bringing, max 2). Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only). Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent. Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc. Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. The house is clean and spacious with a wonderful playroom in the loft. Nice and comfy beds in the bedrooms and in the sleeping area in the loft. We could not check the backyard and the surroundings, there was a lot of snow. There's a small shop with essential goods and a nice bar nearby, a bigger grocery store plaza in 15 miles. 30 minutes drive to Bear Valley to ski. Property management is very nice and helpful. We were two families (3 grownups, 3 kids) traveling with kids 5-9 years old, and the kids had a blast in the loft. Playing in the snow in the yard was another favorite. The kids especially enjoyed the zip lines and the fort. The dining table was plenty big enough for our group of 6 and allowed us to put together several jigsaw puzzles and play many board games. We've stayed in a lot of different vacation rentals over the past 15 years, and the kitchen here is probably the best equipped we've ever experienced—oils, spices, pots and pans, dishes, silverware—whatever we needed was always handy. We appreciate the owners sharing their family cabin with us—it was a perfect fit for our crew! ##### Lori D. The pool table, foosball table were big family hits. The wrap-around deck was great for morning coffee and night time s'mores. The hammock was great, looking up at the tree-tops. Just a lot to do to keep entertained. The only complaint would be that the dishwasher does not seem to work.....I mean it moves water around, but at the end, dishes are dirty, and habe to be washed by hand. Reviewer Comments: The house had everything you could want with kids on a Labor Day forest getaway. We played in the yard, the play room, and watched a movie. We somehow also made time to visit the big trees and swim in the pool. Beds were pretty comfortable. This was my first cabin rental experience, so I was surprised by a couple of things: -linens and towels were provided as extras (had to ask) and smelled strongly of detergent and fabric softener. -While the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, and dishes, the drawers and cabinets were dirty and disorganized. Maybe that’s normal for a cabin? -There was some Folgers coffee in the cabinet, but not enough for our whole stay. No sugar was found. I think coffee and sugar should be a standard amenity. -The carpets and floors were not clean enough for a shoes-off policy. -Dishwasher has come loose from the cabinet/countertop, so you had to wiggle it in place to close the door. -Back slider has a loose up/down lock mechanism, which makes it possible to lock yourself out. -Mattresses are old and worn.
