Stay cool in the summer with forced air conditioning, each room and main floor having their own controls, or for the snowy months, cozy up to the two-sided gas log fireplace and create a gourmet feast in the well-appointed kitchen. This kitchen comes equipped with all the appliances and modern amenities that will make cooking a breeze. Step through a large glass door out onto the large and updated deck for a fresh breath of mountain air and stunning views of large trees and the mountains. This is a great place to enjoy a summer BBQ while watching the kids play in the landscaped yard or building a snowman during the winter months. The main level is where you will find one bedroom, one full bath (shower only), and a convenient washer/dryer combo. Two more bedrooms and a shared full bath with a tub/shower combo are located on the upper level. When it comes to entertainment, the rec room is the answer! Our first time in Arnold and is such a wonderful spot for families. This next portion is for the property manager, Vacasa only.The only road in and out of Arnold was closed on our check out day. We literally could not leave the street until 12pm. Vacasa refused to let us have a late check out. Even though there was also no way for a cleaning crew or other guests to get in during that time. We had toddlers and Vacasa suggested we just stay in the car for a couple hours until the road opened….excuse me? We are staying far far away from any Vacasa related property moving forward ##### Kelley N. The fireplace on the main floor is what controls the heat, and will get very warm quickly! There are also small wall heaters in each bedroom, but we didn't need them. The mattresses were soft, not bad though. The whole house was very clean, we didn't see any dust, and could still see the fresh vacuum marks lol. The kitchen was organized, fridge was very clean, microwave is hard to reach/see into for us short girls lol...only thing the kitchen was lacking was aluminum foil and ziplock baggies. The downstairs game room had it's own stove heater, which made it easy to control temps on all floors. The pool table is great, couches are comfy, the only strange/inconvenient thing was that the only tv in the whole house is downstairs in the game room, so when adults are down there listening to music/playing pool, the kids can't watch tv. We've stayed at this property several times over the past 5 years. The recent improvements make the home even more enjoyable and we'll definitely be back. Each season offers unique reasons for getaways and we've enjoyed staying at this home in the fall, winter and summer. Skiing at Bear Valley is very convenient. But, we also loved bringing paddle boards and picnicking and swimming in warmer weather. Hiking in always popular. The recent improvements of a larger deck and the beautiful view from the living room windows, plus the larger fireplace, were amenities we enjoyed while inside the cabin. The fact that the home is on three levels gave us the opportunity to have some privacy and quiet times, even when a family/group comes on vacation together.
