The location is wonderful - close to the historic center, patisserie, restaurants and grocery store. I felt like I was sleeping in a castle with the large stone block walls and the comfortable beds and sheets smelling so good. The stairs could present some difficulties for some people as they are narrow and spiral. Our host, Michel, speaks only French but if you know a little French you will do fine. Michel was very helpful with showing us where to park for free and where all the necessary stores are. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. I liked the added thought of little things like a new bar of local soap in the bathroom, water bottles in the bedroom and orange juice and packaged waffles for our first breakfast. The kitchen was SMALL but typical French but all of the cook wear was clean and modern. :) The bathroom was spacious but it was difficult to not have the shower leak. The location was perfect!
