"Good parking. Brightly lit everywhere so I felt safe.off the main drag enough to be nice and quiet but close enough to walk to a store or restaurant. Very clean room with comfy bed. Expedia said dog friendly, but iguess not free. They charged me $10.00 for my dog. Not refundable. "

"It was the perfect location for our weekend travel ball tournament. The front desk lady was phenomenal. She made our check in and check out very easy. We were even able to check in early which really helped us avoid the heat during an off period of the tournament. Breakfast was provided which was very convenient. The beds were a little hard, but overall a great place for an overnight stay. "

A getaway in the Shire

"First of all the area is beautiful and the property is amazing. The detail the host put into the location is outstanding. Anyone who loves The Hobbit will love this place. However, it is not for anyone with mobility issues. To get to the sleeping areas or only bathroom you need to be able to step up over a large and wide threshold from the big round door. To reach the toilet you need to be able to step up into the closet it is locate in, and to get into the beds you need to be able to jump up a bit or climb over the side rails. (think of the scene where Frodo is in the giant bed after being rescued from Mt Doom) This is that bed, though instead of being made for elves it is made for large Northmen. All hobbits, and dwarves will need assistance to climb in. My wife has serious mobility issues and only with great difficulty was able to get into the lowest bed. Even so she loved our stay and was glad to have had the experience. The experience is worth the trouble, but if you are unable to navigate steps or handle getting up and down from high places (or low seats) this may not be for you. "

"We definitely enjoyed our time here! There is plenty of space including seating!! Everyone had ample room to be comfortable.We enjoyed the pool as well as the game room downstairs! Visiting the horses at the fence line, while drinking my morning coffee, was an added bonus!"
