She was very helpful and made sure that we were very well settled. The person via WhatsApp also was very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. "Die Betreiberin des Bed and Breakfast ist eine sehr nette und freundliche Italienerin. Sie spricht allerdings kaum Englisch. Doch mit Google Übersetzer kommt man weiter. Das Zimmer mit Bad ist groß und gemütlich. Aus dem Fenster schaut man auf eine Wand, die ca. 2 Meter entfernt ist. Der Vorteil ist, es kann keiner ins Fenster schauen und es kann gut gelüftet werden. "Lovely midsize luxury hotel in the center of Genoa, convenient to the Old Town and shopping precincts. In a beautiful old palace, the room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel doesn’t have amenities like a gym or a pool, but that didn’t matter for us. The staff were all great. We had bicycles and they could not have been nicer about storing them or helping us with them. Breakfast was excellent too."

"Spacious, cool, clean, well-equipped apartment for 2 adults & 2 children, close to metro stop, aquarium, old town etc. No staff at front desk: We had to contact them a few times to arrange check-in after midnight, then for check-out no one returned our messages so we just left the keys on the living room table!"

"My room was very spacious, the bathroom as well. The rooms have air conditioning, which makes them very comfortable and lets you sleep well at night, The rooms have large windows and are bright and inviting. Black-out curtains help you sleep at night. From my room on the ninth floor I could watch the activities at the airport down below, where lots of smaller private planes arrived and were prepared for their next flight. That was very interesting and entertaining."

"An absolute gem! Without a doubt. Perfect location right across from the train station yet very close to centro storico and restaurants nearby. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant on the first floor serving local specialities. The service and food was excellent. The staff everywhere from the front office to the restaurant to house keeping were superb. We asked house keeping three times for service on restocking the minibar, change of pillows(they have a pillow menu too). All their prices are reasonable and offer more value for money. We opted for the gold package which includes breakfast, parking, minibar (soft drinks), and a 10% discount on all F&B purchases incl the bar and restaurants. The rooms were very clean spacious and comfortable. So were the beds and soundproofing. The Starhotel President will definitely be the hotel for us for any future visit!"
