We loved this charming hotel in an even more charming town. The breakfast was great. There are lots of shops just outside the front door and the parking garage is literally next door. Don’t miss the chocolatier, Heimdal, just down the street. Highly recommend.

The hotel itself is ok- the name is a bit misleading, as there is nothing “grand” about this hotel. We got a room on the backside of the hotel with just a tiny window. If you stay here, insist on the front. The housekeeping was in our room, but didn’t do the bed.

Personalen på hotellet är fantastiskt trevliga, mycket hjälpsamma. Hotellet har en charm som äldre hotell oftast har. Det är ett mysigt hotell. Jag bor mycket hellre på den här typen av hotell än ett modernt och nytt hotell.

Sentralt og bra overnatting i Arendal

Vi overnattet en natt lørdag til søndag og parkerte på gata siden etter kl 18 var gratis. Det var fint hotell og rommet var brukbart størrelse. Likte ikke helt dusjen fordi det kun var en dusjhode høyt ovenfra, ikke så brukervennlig for damene. Frokosten var helt greit.

Trangt og mørkt rom.

Veldig uhygienisk med pynteputer og pynteteppe. Det var veldig trangt og liten plass mellom seng og vegg, Kun ett uttak til lading rundt sengen. Det var et lite, mørkt og trangt rom. Ene gardinen var utenfor skinnen. Slitte dørlister. Tunge gardiner. Enkel frokost.

Stolpejakt i Arendal

Vi møtte en svært hyggelig dame som ønsket oss velkommen. Innsjekking gikk hurtig. Rommet var ikke stort men beliggenhet var perfekt for oss. Da vi spiste ute om kvelden, gikk vi glipp av kveldsmaten. Frokost var helt ok. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.
