Dated property with a lot of potential. It seems cheaply refurbished some years ago. Some areas are nice (like the lobby) other are bit worse (rooms, hallways). Staff are really nice and there were many food options. Beautiful views, depending on the room - some might be a bit overlooked.

The gardens in which the hotel is built are beyond comparison, a real oasis. The pool is very attractive, with plenty of sunbed area around it. The beach, the local restaurants, the little shops and the bus stop are all very close, and there is a good walking route to the town of Santa Cruz avoiding the main road (50 mins).

The apartments are very clean. Hotel restaurants are very nice. The bathroom need a little maintenance and modernization. There was a storm brewing and the hotel just left a flyer stating stay indoors a little more information would have been beneficial.

"Roads under construction doubled travel time - not your fault. But pounding during 10am seemed overly loud. Bothered others. The lack of a coffee maker of Tea water warmer was quickly remedied by asking for one at front desk. But warning to future guests - bring your own coffee, AND water."
