Hotel was acceptable, with clean rooms and ample breakfast. There is a feeling that it’s overdue a significant refurbishment, but comfortable stay overall.
Important note: this might be a cultural difference, but the inclusive spa visit makes flip-flops AND swimming cap mandatory - if you don’t have your own upon arrival the hotel requires you to purchase both from the spa reception. This is somewhat unusual for a 4-star hotel in my experience, so worth specifically mentioning.

Absolutamente fantástico. Es un sitio de ensueño, la comida maravillosa y el lugar impactante. Lo más especial sin embargo es la atención del personal. Se comprometen a la llegada de hacerte sentir en casa y realmente lo logran. No hubo detalle que no atendieran y momento en el cual no nos hicieran sentir como dueños de ese maravilloso palacio. Gracias!

"Such a lovely building. Lots of traditional features but rooms are modern, clean and fresh. Our room had a small balcony, one of two in the hotel. Most attractive restaurant and courtyard. It has a gastro dining experience and the restaurant seemed very popular with local visitors but plenty of room. ..."
