"Pros: Surroundings (green, nature) is lovely. Super friendly host. Big house, the upper house is all yours which is very big! Big kitchen, well supplied. Very clean. Animals all over, for the kids (and me!) really amazing. A path through the woods to get there, which made it even more special. Comfortable stay. Good WiFi. So much peacefulness everywhere, we really enjoyed it. Stayed there for 2 nights, this could easily have been 4 :)"

"This is a very old house, with old furniture - it is well kept. It has a new clothes washer and dishwasher. The clothes washer leaked under the sink, and the owner came to try to fix it. It was pretty clean, although there were a lot of ants in the kitchen. There’s no air-conditioning, obviously, and it was very hot - it is hard to cool the house now unless you leave all the windows open, and there are no screens, so then a lot of flying insects come in. "We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome relieve from the near 40C outside. Room was spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, beds were comfy and water was in the mini fridge. There was no kettle in the room. Room/hotel were accessed using a key code which worked well when returning from an evening meal. A bonus is the private parking in the hotels subterranean car park for 10 euros a night. All in all a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Beasain is a delightful town for an evening stroll with some interesting historical features."

"Beautiful Hotel. Love the marble staircase. Rooms were immaculate. Long pillows on the bed were so cozy for me because I’m a side sleeper. There is an offsite fitness club about 7 min walk. Used it all 3 days. About 30 min walk to downtown. City is so walkable. Wide, safe sidewalks. All cross walks have crossing lights. If you have a bike or standing scooter you’re downtown in minutes."
