The Edelweiss Hotel was only 60 metres across the square to the front of Bremen Hauptbahnhof station, which was my main concern as I was travelling around mainland Europe on Interrail, staying just one night in each location. There was an Irish bar just around the corner, and it was about ten minutes' walk to some decent restaurants. Price was reasonable, although I didn't choose the breakfast as I felt that was a little pricey - perhaps a mistake as there was a decent café at the railway station.
