"My stay was really great. Very friendly staff that was helpful. For the bathrooms, it would have been nice to have shower mats as there were issues with keeping the bathroom floor dry. Additionally, having hand soap in the bathrooms would be a nice additional touch. It would have also been nice to receive recommendations for places and restaurants to visit "

"Although this hostel is a quite cheap place to stay at I absolutely recommend you to think twice before booking. In the shared room THERE ISN'T AC. During summer it's impossible to sleep. If I knew about it before I would stay at a different place for sure. I cannot explain lack of such fundamental deivce in Italy as AC, especially in this region. Bathroom has only access to cold water. Actually it's literally freezing temperature so good luck taking a shower, eventhough outside is 35-40...

"I received no service at the hostel. After gaining entry there was a keycard with my name attached, but no details as to which room or bed to use. I walked room to room until one opened with the card. The contact phone number left on reception was incorrect so it was not possible to contact people. During my stay I saw 2 dubious couples arrive without bags, quite late in the evening... Facilities were old and tired, the shared bathroom door did not close properly or lock. They advertise a hot...

"Very clean, well run hostel in a convenient part of town close to the pilgrim trail. Great coffee, clean sheets, warm blankets, good shower/water pressure, quiet, we all had a good night's sleep. Really helpful staff, on the reception desk and in the breakfast room. Would stay here again."

"Where to start. I travel extensively and this little gem has been one of my absolute favorite places to stay. The location is excellent and close within 10-20 minute drive of all the wonderful little towns around. Felipe greeted me with a glass of local sagrantino wine and walked me around the borgo giving me the history of the place and it added to the charm of the place. The entire place is extremely clean. "We were quite disappointed in this stay. It was quite loud late into the night and the “bungalows” didn’t keep out the noise. The rooms weren’t specifically clean but the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The coffee machine wasn’t restocked-no coffee, the choices were vast but not restocked well. We arrived one hour before breakfast was slated to end but 3/4 of the offerings were empty and not restocked through the completion of the breakfast time. The sad part was that we paid...

"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible. Had a great nights sleep and breakfast was a huge choice of self serve items. Lots of home made unusual choices. Loved our unique castle...
