Coming around a curve on a forest service that you’ve been on for 25 miles to see this. San Juan mountains in Colorado.

Entering into the Weminuche Wilderness in the San Juan mountains of southwestern Colorado. Accessible from either the western side or eastern side of Elwood Pass close to Pagosa Springs. This hike starts at 11,345 ft and tops out at 12,350 ft. Continuing on this hike you end up at Crater Lake. #takeahike

If you have an ATV, you can take Route 101 to the top of Black Mountain. There is a large loop that goes around the top of the mountain with several scenic overlooks.
