Antananarivo Avaradrano Holidays

Excellent appart hôtel . Très spacieux . Très propre et très stylé . Supérette en bas de l’immeuble . Zone sécurisée proche ambassade et palais présidentiel. Personnel très accueillant , toujours prêt à aider . Je recommande

This is a great place to stay . The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom with good shower, hot water and big towels. The staff are very friendly and helpful . As per info on website we expected buffet breakfast with fresh fruit etc . Instead breakfast is in attached cafe - nice but no fruit . Breakfast staff very friendly. It was difficult to communicate with this hotel via Expedia website and Expedia were no help at all.

Stay would have been rated excellent but for the persistent water problems. Went for days without a shower at times with a sink full of dirty dishes i couldn't wash because of a lack of water. The owner said this was a temporary problem, but it was a consistent problem throughout my stay. When I asked for a discount because of the issue he offered a pittance. Pool is beautiful and well-maintained but extremely cold. Location is in a beautiful neighborhood but very remote, which might be a good thing for some.

2 days before check in ( I stayed in the Colbert , very recommended and a lot cheaper ) I checked if the room would be ready upon ma arrival day . Arriving in the room : empty minibar , no bottle of water in the room , no water heater to prepare tea ( was promised , like a welcome drink ). No breakfast include . The above is not a problem at all , but paying 105 Euro ( Hotel Colbert was 67 incl. a super breakfast and all spa facilities ). I would not recommend this hotel without any facility apart from a modern , clean room and good bed .
