There are no lines, no crowds, no rushing, and few tourists. The water is calm, the beach is fabulous, and it’s quiet. This place is a hidden gem. The apartment is located on top of several restaurants, shops, a grocer and a laundry room (only takes euros and the apartment has laundry soap). The beach is a very short walk (our 2.5 year old walked it) and the beautiful marina is even closer. You have everything you need right there. The apartment was well stocked & clean. It is as advertised. The check in/check out process was easy. You need to check in during the day time because it is really hard to find. You drive up a mountain and then go all the way back down it. If you follow the signs that direct you to the shops then you can park and send a message via WhatsApp to the property manager. There’s a small playground area — you can park there and wait. We stayed here with our toddler and we rented a pack and play via the host. There are black out curtains in the bedroom and the a/c worked well. BUT, there were several nights where the restaurants below us were busier and the people were loud. It didn’t bother us, but it could easily be a big deal for someone else. Overall, it was the perfect place for our family vacation. We explored the whole island & still would come back to Anse Marcel beach & this property in a heart beat.
