The staff were warm and friendly and room was nice and clean. It was a little difficult to find as it has a doorway leading up to reception on the first floor. However, it is also right in the middle of town which was great.

Really nice & very spacious property with lots of curiosities all over.
Breakfast was a bit lacking in the context of the level of everything else - no fresh fruit, only compote, no fresh veggies, somewhat sad looking cheese.

"Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. ..."
