Getting Around: A car is not needed, but there are several parking garages close to the house. Due to a change in city regulations, guest parking passes for the residential street can no longer be provided for your stay. You may park on the street for up to 2 hours in any other open space. The city does provide free parking from 6PM Friday to 6AM Monday at the Calvert Street Garage (19 St. Johns Lane) or you can also park in the following garages/lots: Hillman Garage (150 Gorman Ave - entrances from Main St or Duke of Gloucester) South Street Lot - South Street off Church Circle, Gotts Court Parking Garage – (25 Northwest Street) Knighton Parking Garage – (1A Colonial Avenue), Park Place - 5 Park Place (just off West St ). There was plenty of space. The home has the perfect mix of upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms, but it still holds a lot of historic charm. We were able to walk everywhere! We were visiting for a Navy football game, as my dad is an alumni and it was easy to get to the academy. If you're bringing a car, be aware that daily parking costs a minimum of 25\. The house is well-maintained, clean and has a perfect balance of Historic Annapolis charm mixed with the right amount of modern upgrades to the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and offered us a restful sleep. Another much appreciated detail is the well-stocked kitchen with all the extras (k-cups, creamers, a variety of spices & oils, kitchen trash bags, several extra rolls of paper towels, etc.)The home is perfectly located and close walking distance to everything. No street parking, yet directly across the street is The Hillman Garage. The host, Danielle, was a wonderful communicator and answered any questions I had in a prompt and professional manner.
