"We stayed at the resort for 3 nights. The food was delicious in all the restaurants. We enjoyed Thai cuisine, local cuisine, and international cuisine. The staff went out of their way to meet any and all of our requests. What we enjoyed the most is the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the resort and the proximity to the airport in Male. "WE have been to the Maldives over 30 times and have experienced nearly 20 islands. Initially we went with our children , now we travel as a couple . We now often visit two islands and usually finish on Baros as we know we will finish on a high. They know what we like and without asking now they try and cover all our requests. We like our holiday to run smoothly, we spend our days snorkelling on a house reef on the island with no boat transfer. and reading and want to finish with a good quality a la carte meal. Even though we have been to Baros nine times we still see different fish on their reef. It is a peaceful island and all the staff are very friendly and have a very good work ethos and work as a team. Elbo did a fantastic job keeping our room clean whilst we were at breakast/ evening meal ( something we like) and yet again Saeed helped make everything run smoothly. We ate at all three restaurants and had a variety of different foods (one of our favourites the lobster bisque at the Lighthouse restaurant). We are looking forward to returning in January with one of our daughters who goes out diving most days."

"When we arrived we were Taken to the lobby area and had to sit through a 30-45 min speech of a TON of information. They had us download their app where we had to make reservations 1-2 days prior to any of their restaurants if we wanted to eat there. They also ran through SO much information at 100MPH. On top of this we were hit with a $360 charge for the water taxi that brought my husband and I from the airport to the hotel. On top of that we were also hit with all the daily taxes for our stay at that same moment. The hotel is nice overall, the rooms were air conditioned and the beach is nice as well. We got a room With our private jacuzzi but be aware these rooms are a distance from Everything so you have to walk Far every morning or anytime you leave your room to go eat, go to the beach or pool or anything. It was blistering hot so the distance daily walk was miserable. The water sports are very expensive maybe a little over priced from the usual. The food was good. The drinks were also good. They also offer excursions but they are expensive along with a 10% gratuity tax and a 17% city tax on top of the price. Overall, everything was fine the worse part for us was the eater taxi charge that we were unaware of."
