"We enjoyed the clean, quiet room and the friendly staff. I enjoyed a popcorn snack when coming in, and the location is convenient to visiting Mt Rainier National Park. I had been worried about a local fire, but the manager assured me that there was no concern, so we had a good stay for the 2 nights. Many elk come to a nearby grassy area every evening."

"Amazing house. We stayed here during the summer while visiting Mt Ranier NP. Very clean and well looked after house. Plenty of space for my family of 5. Nice for the parents to have their own space and bathroom upstairs. Well stocked kitchen allows you to make meals at the house rather than eating out every night.New looking washer and dryer, and diswasher. All worked well. The house is 2 min from a decent "small town" grocery store. There's also a few restaurants in Packwood - we liked Longmire Springs Brewing, which also has a couple of food trucks. There were a group of approx 12 elk that we saw most days lounging in Packwood!"

"Quaint, cozy, well stocked cabin very close to Packwood shops, coffee etc. View of Rainier from the front porch!! We visited Rainier via the Stevens Canyon entrance (15-20 min) and drove to Paradise. Did several hikes there. Absolutely spectacular!The cabin has everything you need for a great stay and the essentials like soap, toilet paper, coffee, spices etc. The owner goes out of his way to communicate and make sure all is good. His love for Elk Cabin is obvious in his attention to all the details. Thanks for a great stay!!"

"Stayed here for 1 night during our Rainer NP visit. The room was clean and quiet, with easy check-in. Multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby. And the price is the best in Packwood town. Highly recommend."

"Perfect location for visiting Mt. Rainier National Park. Plenty of space for the family to lounge comfortably. Awesome back yard for sipping coffee and listening to the mountain stream that runs directly behind the house. Beautiful and peaceful stay."
