One-room apartment above the roofs of downtown Erfurt
Great apartment, large with everything. Close to supermarket and a short walk to the old town. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs to climb. This did not worry us so it was a great place to stay.

Leonardo Hotel Weimar
A lovely hotel, well served every 20 mins by the local bus. NB the evening I was there the restaurant was closed for a rpivate function, which meant walking 20mins or getting the bus back into town to find a restaurant.
