Work Vacation
I booked this with 22 friends mostly for a work vacation for 4 nights and we had an absolutely fantastic time! A storm came through the week before we got there and there was some rain damage to one of the rooms in the basement that couldn’t be fixed by the time of our stay, but the host Glenn did everything in his power to move beds and make sure we could all still fit since we had so many people! And even with that room closed we had PLENTY of space! We also rented his Bennington Tritoon for 3 days and it is such a nice boat! We had a blast and would recommend this place for anyone with a large family or group. Glenn was responsive, kind, fair, and made the check in/out process super simple.

A perfect family reunion
We were looking for a place for our entire family to get together for spring break and this home did not disappoint. There were 17 of us ranging from ages 11 to 83 and everyone had places to sleep and places to hang out. And as a family that likes to cook, we were in love with both the indoor and outdoor set ups….more toys than any chef could wish for. Lastly, the lake was an amazing activity focal point. We took advantage of the pontoon for everything from sunset cruising to tubing, and the kids loved the kayaks and SUPs. Great to have the kids off their screens. Overall, a perfect vacation.

Fantastic house. Close to necessities but far enough away to feel like a getaway. Host was great. House was perfect for a large grip (20+ men).

Gorgeous property for friends and family!!!
This is perfect property for gathering friends and family. We had 8 adults and 3 10 yr olds in our group and had a fantastic stay. Everyone loved the space fiving everyone their own private room and bathroom. The house is stocked up with anything and everything you could possibly need. Everyone was wishing we could stay longer...even though it was December and too cold to get into lake activities. We will definitely be looking to return in the summer.

Wonderful family vacation
We really enjoyed our time here. The house is beautiful and well stocked. The kids loved the dock and everyone enjoyed having access to the boat. It was perfect for multiple families. The host was very attentive and made us feel welcome. Everyone in our group had a great time.

Wow, what a great stay
The house was large and spacious. Everything was clean and new. The water at the dock is deep and the cove is well protected, great for swimming or floating near the dock. We had 18 people and there was room for more. Having 2 kitchens made everything very accessible whether you were upstairs or down. We didn't use the outdoor grills, but there were several to choose from. The location is great. It is close to Anderson with two grocery stores within 10 minutes. Our host, Glenn, was very communicative and available if we had questions.

Lake Hartwell vacation
Wonderful home with a few things left to be done as it was just completed. Great dock.. the children all enjoyed the water and everyone enjoyed the boat rental. We will defininitly consider staying there for our next year's vacation.

Excellent Home on Lake Hartwell
Our family has been vacationing together for the last 24 years. This was our first year on Lake Hartwell and we were not disappointed. Glenn and Donna were amazing hosts and even offered to pick my family up from the nearby airport! The place was literally brand new and in great shape. One bummer was the stove in the kitchen was not working because of a missing piece that had not arrived in time. Fortunately, there is an entire second kitchen on the lower level. An outdoor kitchen was in the process of being built and not completed, but we made great use of the digital Traeger Smoker, which produced an amazing pork butt. One of the biggest highlights for our family was the boat dock. This was brand new and one of the best docks we have ever seen. Very well laid out and could easily accommodate our wake boat and two additional jet skis. The water depth at the end of the dock was over 20 feet deep and we spent the majority of the week in the water around the dock. Excellent experience! Thank you Glenn and Donna!!

Great hosts and a beautiful home in a good location
Glenn and Donna were excellent hosts for this property. We enjoyed the modern, new construction with dual kitchens and every appliance you can imagine. Our favorite was the awesome dock and excellent, protected swim area with clean, deep water. Good parking for multiple vehicles. We will be back!
