Located only minutes away from our famous parks and Chugach Mountain Range, is The Octopus Den. Which combines modern finishes, and rustic Alaska charm. Inside, be treated to all our luxuries which include two queen beds, custom built bunk beds with both full and twin mattresses, remote controlled window shades to ensure a restful night from the famous Midnight Sun, deep bath tub, rain shower, mesmerizing see through wood stove, and a modern open living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.

Outside, enjoy the private cedar deck. With an outdoor lounge area, solo stove, and grill. All warmly welcoming our guests to enjoy.

Guests will have full access to the entire Octopus Den, as well as free wifi, parking, the television, and full access to the washer/dryer.

Great location and a beautiful home!
We only stayed one night but we thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked for us to use, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Nice and quiet neighborhood as well, and the host was very accommodating to our needs!

Cozy beds, quiet neighborhood!
Such a magnificent visit to AK, enhanced by a lovely home base at the Octopus Den! Bes, pillows so comfortable, linens and towels fresh, kitchen fully stocked (we did some serious cooking) and the icing on the cake was an immaculate hot tub to restore our sore feet and bodies after long hikes and excursions. Thanks to Kaylee for a great experience. Oh, and we saw a Moose Buck and Cow right down the road! Alaska truly is the last frontier.

Cozy and well appointed
We loved staying at the Octopus Den! The location was super convenient to the airport and a great, central hopping off spot to other sites. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our party of 7, including babies. Our host even made sure we had a pack and play. The renovation on the house is so well done and it has lots of fun, custom, Alaska-themed touches. Thank you for a great stay!
