The timber frame structure was beautiful, the custom cabinets and trim were impeccable, and the gazebo that housed the hot tub has to been seen to be appreciated. Everything was clean and felt brand-new. We did have a problem with the use of the hottub, which was actually one of the main reasons we selected this property. First of all, it "closes" at 10pm, OK. Prior to our arrival we asked the owner about the hottub, voicing our intent to use it. However, when we got back from dinner at 9:30pm the lights around the hottub were turned off. It was very dark outside with no street lights or anything to illuminate the pathway. We called and texted the owner asking to turn the lights back on, but didn't hear back from them until the next morning. We went ahead and used the hottub anyway, but at a cost of stumbling on objects to get to it. It felt like the use of the hottub was discouraged, which is unfortunate given that it is displayed as the property's main picture. ##### Tonia B. I highly recommend the Double Musky, though all of the restaurants in Girdwood were excellent. If you want to go hiking and spot moose, just keep driving north on Crow Creek Road. There are many trails that branch off of the road. I would recommend getting a moose horn, bear spray if you want to hike, we also saw mountain lion tracks.. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything you needed to cook meals. My husband use the hot tub and then quickly decided that we needed one at home! So needless to say that was an added bonus.. we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. ##### Teresa N.
